Her Sacred Cycles is proud to announce that founder Rachel Camille will be presenting her workshop, “From Maiden to Matriarch: Navigating the Maternal Journey,” at the Let’s Talk About Sex Conference.

Grounded in a reproductive justice framework, this workshop is designed to educate and empower participants as they navigate the journey of motherhood with confidence and clarity. The session explores three important phases of the maternal journey: the Maiden (preconception), the Mother (pregnancy), and the Matriarch (postpartum).

Participants will learn about body awareness, pregnancy and birth advocacy, postpartum recovery, and the importance of informed decision-making throughout the maternal health journey. Through interactive discussion, reflection, and real-life scenarios, attendees will gain practical tools to better understand their options, communicate effectively with healthcare providers, and advocate for themselves and their families.

Drawing from her lived experience as a certified doula, maternal health advocate, entrepreneur, and health sciences student, Rachel brings both professional knowledge and personal passion to this work. The workshop also highlights the importance of community support and addresses disparities in maternal health outcomes, particularly among underserved populations.

At Her Sacred Cycles, we believe that education is empowerment and that every woman deserves access to information, support, and advocacy throughout every stage of the maternal journey.

Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of their bodies, their rights, and the tools needed to advocate for themselves and others during pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and beyond.

We are honored to share this important conversation at the Let’s Talk About Sex Conference and look forward to connecting with attendees committed to improving maternal health outcomes and supporting women through every cycle of life.

This version also helps connect the conference topic directly back to Her Sacred Cycles’ larger mission of education, advocacy, and service.
