Rachel Camille

Our Founder & Executive Director

Rachel Camille is a mother, certified doula, hair care professional, student, and advocate dedicated to supporting women through every stage of life. As a current Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Chicago Fellow, her work centers on creating spaces where women feel informed, supported, and empowered.

Her journey into advocacy began through years of serving women in the beauty industry, where conversations about pregnancy, postpartum experiences, health, and wellness revealed a deeper need for education, support, and trusted resources. Those experiences inspired her to become a certified doula and continue her education in the fields of biology, naturopathic medicine, and maternal health.

In 2026, Rachel founded Her Sacred Cycles to bring together her passion for education, advocacy, service, and holistic wellness. Inspired by the belief that every stage of womanhood deserves recognition and support, the organization honors women from maiden to matriarch while creating opportunities for growth, connection, and empowerment. Through Her Sacred Cycles, Rachel is committed to helping women feel seen, informed, and confident as they navigate every cycle of life.

From Maiden to Matriarch: Navigating the Maternal Journey Presented by Rachel Camille This interactive workshop educates and empowers participants to navigate the journey of motherhood with confidence. Grounded in a reproductive justice framework, the session explores three key phases of the maternal journey: the Maiden (preconception), the Mother (pregnancy), and the Matriarch (postpartum). Participants will gain practical tools to better understand their bodies, advocate for themselves in healthcare settings, ask informed questions, and make confident decisions throughout pregnancy, birth, and recovery. Through discussion, reflection, and real-life scenarios, attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of maternal health, community support, and self-advocacy.
